Elizabeth Terminal Trailer Park

Brenwal were awarded the contract to up-grade the surface water run off drainage within the existing trailer park. The works consisted of the installation of a Brenwal designed channel as an alternative to the proposed Aco channel.

The Condor interceptor tank connected to the Marina surface water for discharge.

Brenwal proposed the Athlon channel was installed by excavating a trench to the required depth for the pre-cast channels with a concrete surround. The channels, 900mm depth were then connected to a discharge manhole into the interceptor.

The channels were then sealed with the pre-formed top units. Reinforcements were installed on site between the inlet openings for the channel. Shutters were installed to give a clean edge for reinstating the brick paving to the channel.
